HMR (High Moisture Resistant) MDF

Our skirting boards are manufactured from premium HMR (High Moisture Resistant) MDF, recognised by its distinctive green core. All products comply with the EN 622 European standard and are manufactured using FSC-certified materials.

Why HMR MDF?

  • Unlike natural wood, MDF will not warp, twist, crack or develop knots.
  • Higher dimensional stability for long-term performance.
  • Excellent moisture resistance.
  • Longer service life than standard MDF.
  • One of the most cost-effective materials for premium skirting boards.

Independently Tested Performance

Our HMR MDF has been tested according to the V313 Wet Cyclic Test, one of Europe's recognised standards for evaluating moisture resistance.

To pass this test, the material must withstand:

  • 3 days submerged in water at 20°C
  • 1 day at -12°C
  • 3 days at 70°C

We guarantee dimensional stability in environments with up to 75% relative humidity.

Premium Factory Finish

Each skirting board is factory-primed and finished with multiple coats of premium RAL paint.

Unlike foil-wrapped MDF, a lacquered finish provides significantly better protection against moisture while delivering a flawless, durable surface.
