DUŠEK DÉCOR — Our Story

Dušek Décor is a Prague-based interior and FF&E studio working at the intersection of design, materials, and production. Founded in 2017, the company has grown into a European partner for architects, designers, developers, and private clients seeking real products, verified manufacturers, and full control over delivery.

PHASE I — CRAFT & FOUNDATIONS

2013–2017

Our story begins with craftsmanship.

What started as a personal exploration of classical upholstery techniques quickly evolved into bespoke interior elements and private projects. A deep understanding of materials, construction, and detail laid the foundation for everything that followed.

This period shaped our core belief: design must be built on real production knowledge.

PHASE II — PRODUCTION & IDENTITY

2018–2020

As demand grew, we expanded into custom manufacturing.

We developed our own production processes, collaborated with workshops, and introduced bespoke interior components such as upholstered furniture, joinery, and decorative mouldings.

During this phase, Dušek Décor established its identity as a hands-on partner, not just a design studio — bridging concept, production, and execution.

PHASE III — RETAIL & FF&E PROJECTS

2021–2022

With increasing project scale, we began delivering turnkey interiors and FF&E solutions for residential and commercial clients.

In January 2022, we opened our boutique furniture showroom in Prague, introducing curated Portuguese and Spanish furniture, lighting, fabrics, and finishes to the Czech market.

This marked a key shift: from individual products to complete, coordinated interior solutions.

PHASE IV — INTERNATIONAL GROWTH

2023–2025

Today, Dušek Décor operates as a material and furniture curator for FF&E projects.

We represent and collaborate with over 100 European manufacturers, providing architects and developers with access to furniture, textiles, lighting, carpets, wallpapers, and custom production — all supported by pricing control, sampling, 3D data, logistics, and quality oversight.

Our work now spans private residences, hospitality, offices, and international projects, with exports across Europe and beyond.
