The DOT. luminaire embodies a closed world of hand-shaped glass, brought to life by a special technique of layered colors. Its form is born and transformed from the very first breaths into the glassmaker’s pipe, through the coloring of the inner element using optical lenses, up to the final shaping in the hands of the glassmaker. The light is ingeniously embedded within the heart of the object, carefully protected by the outer glass layer, opening an entirely new dimension to the pure material.
